Just to share with all on the Fraud Internet Scam: High phone bill charged while surfing the net (caj bil telefon yang tinggi kerana menggunakan internet). Sebab utama dia: melayari web dewasa (adult webpage). So sebenarnyer, kdg2 sebagai manusia kite mmgler nak tahu 'macam2' ttg apa yg ada kat dalam internet tu, tapi adalah lebih baik kite menjaga pandangan kan :) . Moga2 dgn menjaga pandangan mata, pandangan hati juga turut terjaga insha-ALlah.

1.Fraud Internet Scam
The Internet Scam typically associated with adult sites. Happens when these sites offers special software programs to facilitate easy viewing for content, fleece customers through International dialing.

The sites claimed to be ‘free’ or advertise that ‘no credit card is needed’, then prompt the customer to download a ‘viewer’ or ‘dialer’ program.

Whenever the customer access to these adult sites, they are no longer connected to the local Internet Service Provider (TM Net) instead they are connected to an international Internet Service Provider hosting the adult entertainment sites via direct dialing to the server.

Thus, when the customer is connected to the international Internet Service Provider, they are no longer charged per TMNET charges i.e. 1.0 sen for Internet access and 1.5 sen for call charges. This is because they are no longer connected to TM Net’s dial-up service and as a result customer are being charged based on international call charges. The viewing charges will appear in the customer’s telephone bill as international call charges in relations to destination and charge rate of that particular website.
