Di Perjalanan

Buat teman-teman yang rajin berkunjung ke sini,

Terima kasih diucapkan kerana sabar menanti setiap masa.

Mereka.. satu negara, satu bahasa.. tetapi berbeza.

Updates will be coming soon..

Multiplier Effect III (Finale)

"Yin & Yang"

I never thought that my previous posting was somehow difficult to be followed by my readers. Well, hopefully the 3rd posting (perhaps the last one in this topic at the moment) will help to ease the understanding.
p/s: It is going to be in Malay for this time..

Konsep Yin & Yang
Seorang guru pernah memberitahu saya mengenai pandangan beliau berkenaan konsep Yin & Yang.

Baik & Buruk Multiplier Effect

Mungkin, kata saya. Mungkin juga tidak...

Cukup untuk kali ini. Saya belum habis mengkaji. Dan masih sedang mengaji (belajar).

p/s: Post-posting retoric question:
Patutkah saya tulis buku jikalau begini?

A True Love Story

[1] Breaking news yesterday; cannot say much anymore. Anyway do check this link out so you are not going to turn up like her.

[2] The posting on Multiplier Effect III is coming soon.. not able to type it right now. (Hope i don't sound stupid when writing on this theory. :P )

[3] Received this from one of the friend. Same story, but different way of telling..

Quote from another friend's reply:
It fits the theme ("the greatest human love of all times). And it also include parts about misconception about Islam. Why did Prophet Muhammad married many women. It explains the reasons for his multiple marriage.

A True Love Story

By: Hesham Hassaballa

She was one of the noblest women around, coming from a very prominent family. She was also quite beautiful and the holder of a considerable amount of wealth, being a prominent businesswoman. To marry her would have been a great feat for any man, and indeed, quite a few of the most prominent and wealthy men in society had asked for her hand. Yet, she rejected them all; already being a widow, she had lost the desire to marry again.

Until he came into her life. He was young man of 25, and although he was also of a noble family, he was an orphan and was not a man of many means. He had made a meager living tending sheep in the hills surrounding the city. Yet, he had an impeccable moral character, and he was widely known as one of the most honest men around. That is what attracted her to him: she was looking for someone honest who could conduct business for her, as she - a woman in a fiercely patriarchal society - could not do it herself. So, he started working for her.

After he came back from his first business trip, she asked her servant, whom she sent with him, about him and his conduct. The servant amazed her by his report: this young man was the kindest, gentlest man he had ever met. Never did he treat the servant harshly, as many others do. Yet, there was more: as they traveled in the heat of the desert, the servant noticed that a cloud had followed them the entire time, shading them from the blazing sun. The businesswoman was quite impressed with her new employee.

Not only that, this new employee proved to be an astute businessman in his own right. He took his employer's merchandise, sold it, and with the profits bought other merchandise that he sold again, thus profiting twice. All this was enough for her: the embers of love in her heart that were once extinguished re-kindled again, and she resolved to marry this young man, who was 15 years younger than she.

So, she sent her sister to this young man. She asked him, "Why are you not married, yet?"

"For lack of means," he answered.

"What if I could offer you a wife of nobility, beauty, and wealth? Would you be interested?" she told him.

He replied in the affirmative, but when she mentioned her sister, the young employee chuckled in amazement.

"How could I marry her? She has turned down the most noble men in the city, much wealthier and prominent than me, a poor shepherd," he said.

"Don't you worry," the sister replied, "I'll take care of it."

Not long after, the wealthy businesswoman married her young employee, and it was the beginning of one of the most loving, happiest, and sacred marriages in all of human history: that of Prophet Muhammad and Khadijah, the daughter of Khuwaylid. When they were married, the
Prophet was 25 years old, and Khadijah was 40. Yet, that did not bother the Prophet one bit. He loved her so deeply, and she loved him as deeply. They were married for 25 years, and she bore him seven children: 3 sons and 4 daughters. All of the sons died in young age.

Khadijah was a source of immense love, strength, and comfort for the Prophet Muhammad, and he leaned heavily on this love and support on the most important night of his life.

While he was meditating in cave of Hira, the Angel Gabriel came to the Prophet Muhammad and revealed to him the first verses of the Qur'an and declared to him that he was to be a Prophet. The experience terrified the Prophet Muhammad, and he ran home, jumping into Khadijah's arms crying, "Cover me! Cover me!" She was startled by his terror, and after soothing and comforting him for a while, the Prophet was able to calm down and relate to her his experience.

The Prophet feared he was losing his mind or being possessed.

Khadijah put all his fears to rest: "Do not worry," she said, "for by Him who has dominion over Khadijah's soul, I hope that you are the Prophet of this nation. Allah would never humiliate you, for you are good to your relatives, you are true to your word, you help those who are in need, you support the weak, you feed the guest and you answer the call of those who are in distress."

She then took him to her cousin, Waraqah ibn Nawfal - a scholar well-versed in the Judeo-Christian scripture - and he confirmed to the Prophet that his experience was Divine and he was to be the Last Prophet.

After his ministry began, and the opposition of his people became harsh and brutal, Khadijah was always there to support the Prophet Muhammad, sacrificing all of her wealth to support the cause of Islam. When the Prophet and his family was banished to the hills outside of Mecca, she went there with him, and the three years of hardship and deprivation eventually led to her death. The Prophet Muhammad mourned her deeply, and even after her death, the Prophet would send food and support to Khadijah's friends and relatives, out of love for his first wife.

Once, years after Khadijah died, he came across a necklace that she once wore. When he saw it, he remembered her and began to cry and mourn. His love for her never died, so much so, that his later wife A'isha became jealous of her. Once she asked the Prophet if Khadijah had been the only woman worthy of his love. The Prophet replied: "She believed in me when no one else did; she accepted Islam when people rejected me; and she helped and comforted me when there was no one else to lend me a helping hand."

Much has been made and said about Prophet Muhammad's multiple marriages. There are many who smear the Prophet as a womanizing philanderer, citing his multiple marriages. This is absolute propaganda. As a response to those who malign the Prophet , IF the Prophet were anything of the sort, he would have taken advantage of his youth to do such a thing. But he did not! At a time when it was a common custom to have multiple wives, the Prophet did not marry anyone else while he was with Khadijah.

It was only after Khadijah died, may God be pleased with her, that he married other women. Most of these wives were widows, whom the Prophet married to care after them, or they were the daughters of prominent Arab chieftains, so that the Prophet could form a cohesive Muslim society out of a fiercely tribalistic (and barbaric) Arab culture. The smears against the Prophet fall flat on their faces once the light of truth shines brightly upon them.

In a song about the Prophet and Khadjiah, Muslim rappers Native Deen sing: "We look for stories of love in places dark and cold/When we have a guiding light for the whole world to behold." Many of what we call "love stories" today are nothing more than stories of lust and desire, physical attraction disguised as love.

Yet, I can find no love story more powerful, more spiritually uplifting, more awe inspiring as that of the Prophet Muhammad and Khadijah. It is a shining example of what an ideal marriage is, and if I ever claim that I love my wife, I must gauge my actions with that of the Prophet. As the country commemorates Valentine's Day, and everywhere we turn this month, "love is in the air," I cannot help but reflect upon, what is to me, the greatest of all love stories: that of Muhammad and Khadijah. Even with all of its amazing and creative talent, Hollywood could not have come up with a story greater than this.

Old time, younger age

Sometimes when i browse again through my older time postings, and at that time as i was younger i would sometimes feel shy of what i wrote. I found some writings were too emotional, or too inspirational, or too childish , even at some points were out of mind (unrealistic) things and sometimes i cant believe it was me who wrote it - due to the facts i am learning from myself. Well, then at some point of time i was wondering will i do better or even as good as i was .. Oh, yes please do not teasing me on those too emotional parts. I might not be able to stand it :P :P :P

Was received and replied emails between a friend when i suddenly remember one lesson i received years ago from my Teacher. Today, i just want to share what came out from my Teacher, hopefully it will gives some lights in yourself .. ;)

Multiplier Effect II

I was wondering should i be following Tok Mudin's step in encouraging people to comment on my blog by offering a small gift/present to the winner.. hi hi hi...

Back to our previous topic, i mentioned on methods to handle multiplier effect. Let's make it in point form:
1. Government intervention through Central Bank (in this context: Bank Negara in Malaysia)
2. Increase interest rate & reserve rate (a.k.a. reservation ratio)
3. Affected all banks to increase interest rate; increase reservation ratio thus lead to less money to loan out
4. Less money can be loaned out means less money to buy things, people will reduce consumption.
5. Higher interest rate will lead people to save more to gain more.
6. Money taken out from the market and go back to banks.
7. Less money circulate in the market.

Using this theory, you may understand /estimate where is our current economy level.
Hints: Currently the interest rate for loan in the market is very much low (4% - 8% ).

See...
Whatever it is, the Ruler (read: the Government) is the main subject at most part. Where is the civilians? the citizens? They are at number 4 & 5.

So whenever citizens are saying something to the government to take action, it means without the government intervention things may not work out properly. Do not always saying 'this is not government role only', instead do something to rectify the matters. It is on top of all, the Government role to decide what kind of society will be living in the Territory (read: Country).

People of the Government (read: Cabinet) may say they are too busy to handle too many things, yes most of us understood that. But what comes with Power, comes responsibility.. If you intervene in unnecessary things or less important agenda, obviously small matters will become national highlights. And if you ignore the major point, you are in deep major problem!

Opps..sorry.. terlari topik...

Back to our discussion (can this be considered a discussion or a speech since i am 'talking' alone here?)..

From my humble opinions (based on the point forms above) this is what we can do:

1. Evaluate the level of problem in the society. Example: Budak2 taknak pergi sekolah (multiplier effect? he he he)

2. Finding the root cause: example: byk pengaruh luar yg jahat, cikgu ajar tak seronok (more supply of enjoyment outside the school, less supply of enjoyment inside the school)

3. Increase enjoyment level inside the school - this need creativity from the teachers and support from the parents (point: intervention from the School Management to insists on supporting this). Also, talent pool of enjoyment - as practice by some teachers long time ago where the 'magnet students' will be appointed as official leader/mascot/ speaker in the school, indirectly bringing all the attention back to school.

4. Improvised the supply of enjoyment outside the school by changing the negative energy towards positive energy. (point: intervention from the society / assembly man/ state representative / organization). - where is this Rakan Muda things when we need it now?

5. Establish the positive enforcement that are community-friendly, but problems-rectifier (not policemen, i guess).

Parents should teach the children whenever older people talks to them or advice them for good, do not talk (bad) back. For those who advice people to do good deeds, please use good words and always try to improve ourself also.

If you find people doing bad activities and it is something manageable (will not affected your safety), go and talk to them 'with curiosity' like: Buat apa tu? What are you doing here?

Case example: A group of primary school boys hide inside a drain on a sunny evening trying to smoking - go talk to them, advice them that smoking is good if you want to die earlier (or easily forget due to loss of brain cells a.k.a. becomes stupid or losing your money a lot in the future hahhaha), ask them to go back home OR alternatively ask them to play with you, like football, badminton, kemas rumah org2 tua, org2 sakit, cat pagar balairaya, masjid, main galah panjang, batu seremban, baling tin ...(i think i seldomly see kids playing these creative-traditional games that needs no big cost or equiment).. And recognize their good intentions by whatever medium you can do like mentioning their names at their school, say on their good deeds at surau, put good doas for them after jamaah at surau etc...

Because i think our society highlights too many on negative side, and when it is positive it means pressure to them like 20As in exams, score 99.8% for all subjects for 5 years in school...

ops... am i out of topic again?

ahahha..i should stop now for the time being..to recharge myself. i think i can write non-stop or even come out with a book-long-writing post here when discussing about this subject.

p/s: I do think GTO serial movies is something we can review to improvise our current generation, also serial movie The Queen's Room (i forget the tittle's name in Japanese), both are Japanese productions. Since our current development rate is already following those developed countries trend when they moved from developing to developed country, the problems raised on their films on the teenagers can be analyzed.

p/s 2: i have not finished yet, i guess.. :p

Multiplier Effect

In the concept of economy, a multiplier effect is usually refers to the concept of spending a one-ringgit (or dolar or pound etc) will leads to value of hundreds of ringgit (i forget the formula, maybe 1/m, where m= percentage of required reserved in bank).

For example:
Assume that everybody will save 20% of what they received., ceteris paribus (dush! i havent use this term for such a long time - referring to assuming no other things change; double assuming in economics:p)

if you were given RM10; you will keep RM2, and spend RM8. The next person received RM8, will keep RM1.60 and spend RM6.40; Next person received Rm6.40 will keep RM1.28 and spend RM5.12 , and the list goes on..

Taking the list above as an example, in the case of having RM10 will leads to RM8+RM6.40+RM5.12 = RM19.52 +++ (as the list goes on) transactions and RM2 + 1.60 + RM1.28 = RM4.88 ++++ (as the list goes on) ... total up these 2 actually the value of RM10 has become RM24.40 by the 3rd person..

Following this concept, that RM10 can goes up to RM50 in value (RM10/20% = RM50).

Have you understood about this concept now?
Let see what is the definition of this term in economy words:

Multiplier effect is the expansion of a country's money supply that results from banks being able to lend; with the weightage of the effect depends on the percentage of deposits that banks are required to hold as reserves.

The bad thing about this is, when there are too many money supplied in the market, the value of the money will drop, inflation will rise and people will have less buying power - leads to economy downturn.

What is the point here?

The same matter actually circulate in daily life and routine. This if i would be able to say is part of the nature itself...

The effects of doing one good thing will leads to doing many good things, so thus the effects of doing one bad thing will leads to other bad effects.

If i can give an example of a life scenario :

People A... If a teenager who is highly discipline, hardworking, behaving good and intelligent becomes an adult; meet another good partner and the couple is married, there will be probability for their children to be as good as them. Let say 3 out of 4 children inherit those excellent quality. (I left one for uncertainty, as we cannot divide person in %). In this scenario, from 2 good people we have 5 of them.

This is a wonderful story for most people. If we multiply their existences, we will add more good people of Group A.

Another example, for People B: a teenager who is 'naughty and adventerous' grown up, get married to another hip-hip-hooray spouse, this couple have 4 children of which 2 become as problematic as they were when they were young. Worst when the parents have not realize their mistakes, drag along the children mind/behaviour/perspective and spoilt them .. and at one time when the parents want to advice the children, they will reply back with "as if you were never did this when you were young", obviously the parents will shut their mouth up.

And here, we will expect more people from Group B exists through marriages/birth.

Considering the facts that as the negative elements can easily influence people who do not have good foundation, with percentage one out of 3 being easily influence, the people in group B will increase by taking out the people in group A. In the end, more people will be in group B...

Now when we look around we see cases and immoral behaviours once upon a time was rare things become common things nowaday, we know it is part of the multiplier effects of what happen in the past.

Way(s) to solve it?
In economy way of handling the situation of surplus money supply in the market is by increasing the interest rate (where lead people to buy less and save more), and increase the bank reserve rate (where more money will be kept instead of spend), until it is break even - the inflation become deflation, demand for money is parallel to supply.

How about to apply this in our society?
What do you think?

I'll let you know my opinion later...

Notes: all of this except on the matter of economic's theory is my personal opinion... please dont take it hard, but not too light.

Root Cause

Last night i had a conversation with my housemate. It was (later) dragged to work matters, and i suddenly expressed to her that i am not feeling quite 'well' for the past few months; especially since i changed to new department.

I have to admit that my stress level kept mounting every day; to the facts that i made a number of mistakes in my job; and the customers have been waiting for my responses; and the non-stop work that keep on coming to my desk and my email but my inability to fully understand what is it all about or how to do it; and when i'm needed in the meeting with the customers and i totally felt lost while at most time will be saying this in my heart "what the h*ll these aliens are talking about"....

And then it happens... I started to miss my previous work; where i felt i am better on and well verse ....

i received these bouquet of flowers and a present on my last day at my
previous unit..

This is the risk of changing your expertise to a new different experience. I thought i wont last long, because the frustration and dissapoinment in myself is almost there.. Thank you, to my housemate that she told me to find the root cause of what happened. I then realized that i never had a proper training and info on my tasks, plus never i had a good understanding and picture of what i am doing. It became worst when i am so used to proper process and procedure, but it seems to did not exist here. Culture shock, i supposed.

But i am ok now, better off.

Just trying to relax myself, and forgive myself for not able to do things which is beyond my knowledge. (This suggestion really work on me, i got better sleep last night). Now i am working out for increasing my knowledge, and brush up the proper process to be enforced here, not to all but at least to what i am doing..

Thanks, everyone.. Those around me are very helpful ..
Thank you, Allah for make it easy for me when requesting for other's assistance.

Sebab kehilangan, entahlah. Setiap sedikit faktor bila dimasukkan mungkin nampak macam tak relevan, tapi agak memberi impak kepada saya..

Satu, saya sedari saya kurang gemar dengan blog skin yg lepas. Lepas seminggu dua terasa kurang berminat terus menjenguk...

Dua, saya kira kalau dikatakan saya orang nomad.. mungkin saya setuju.

Empat, selepas raya.. saya berpindah unit. It is like 90% different from my previous task. So i have to learn everything especially it involves some technical matters.

Ramadhan 23rd: Rain

p/s: Oh, no..no.. this is not about Bi Rain, the korean artist.

(1) Air Hujan/Rain

Early this morning, on the way to the office with my housemate. We listened to radio IKIM at about 7.40am. There was a recorded talks by one of the Prof. Dr. (i forget his name) on 'Water'. This morning, the Prof. Dr. was talking about rain and its relation to Allah SWT.

I will be writing in Malays. It is difficult for me to explain in ENglish here as the talks was in Malay.

So agakanya kalau nak kulit warna putih merah kena minum banyak2 air dr tempat yg org2nya ramai warna kulit itu. Kalau nak jiwa kental, kena minum air banyak2 dr tempat orang2 yg berjuang.. Allahu'alam.

(2) Dodol akan tiba hari ini. Siapa cepat dia dapat. Cuma ada beberapa sahaja yg lebih. Sapa mahu, cepat bitau utk reserve. Lepas hari ni takde dah:)

(3) Saya lupa nak cakap apa.. nantilah kalau ingat...

Ramadhan 22nd: Smiles

...sMiLeS....

Somewhere in the comment column for my training evaluation, it reads:
"Senyum selalu, saya sukakan senyuman itu. You have a nice smile. "

Someone told me:
Your smile make my day.

Another person said to me:
Looking at your smiles, make all my worries gone.

Well, it does give smiles on my face.. thank you for making my day.:D

err.. should i keep on smiling?:P:P

Ramadhan 20

Salam buat semua.
Saya tahu terlalu lama tidak menulis. Terima kasih buat teman2 yang menghantar msg mengharap saya menulis. Sungguh, terharu....

Lagi 20% mungkin nanti, nanti..

Still, i think it is a high time for me already. Afraid i may unable to handle change in future shall i remain here.

Macam dulu2.. A really tradisional concept. Hajatnya nak buat sedikit sahaja, sbb ada beberapa orang yg 2-3 thn mendesak supaya saya menjualnya. Cuma saya yang malas... hehe so kalau sesiapa berminat, boleh sahaja. Harganya tak mahal, hanya Rm21 sahaja. Rasanya, inshaAllah berpuas hati. Tempahan kalau nak diterima last sekali hari jumaat ini..

apa2 pun pagi tadi saya teringat sesuatu. saya asyik berfikir tarikh 25 September. Mungkin tak ramai yg perasan/ingat kerana ..... byk sbbnya, tapi apa2 pun selamat hari ulang tahun DCBA. Tinggal beberapa kerat sahaja ahli DCBA yg masih single.. :)

Salam hormat buat semua..

Melatah-latah

Teringat pernah baca tulisan bloggers tentang bila pemimpin malaysia melatah dalam ucapan.

Pagi tadi kami pening lagi.
Buka radio, kami dengar berita. Takziah untuk keluarga2 mangsa NURI. DJ mengulang ucapan PM berkenaan nahas NURI. Bab komisen, err taknak komen. tak tahu apa2:p

Lepas itu kami dengar lagi.
Kata dia (salah seorg pemimpin Malaysia) yang menjawab soalan wartawan "Malaysia bukan negara sekular. Malaysia negara Islam yang mengikut tafsirannya sendiri. Malahan, Malaysia telah lama menjalankan pentadbirannya mengikut hukum Islam."
Kali ini kami gelak kuat2. Entah apa2 sahaja kenyataannya.

Allahu'alam.

wish comes true? a wish, by the way?

i dont know where to start and what to write.
so many things happened in my life lately. well, somehow i am a kind of person with a lot of imaginations.

once, i imagined having a boyfriend who i am deeply in love but cannot made his decision on our relationship. feeling hurt, i left him - because there is nothing i can do, neither i can push people's heart... hopefully by being away from him i will be able to turn on a new page.. since then his life was in chaos, incomplete. only to realize how much i meant to him. in the end look for me, really hope to be back together.

yeahhh right!! watching to many romance movies/drama i guess..:P
somehow this wish. it is becoming true. only then the perspective is different.
a friend of mine already laughing out of her chair upon hearing my story.

i was thinking why cant them let me doing my job here, with freedom.

to make it short and simple. this is my last week in malacca.
i am being called back to KL last thursday at 4.40pm , and official letter landed on my table on friday, 10.50 am.

ok now where should i stay?

Granted Wish

I am not sure who wishes for this; because i am half-hearted on it.
Since i just came back from a long break, i do wish to do a lot of things in the office.
But..
Another plan came in. I'll be in KL for the next 2 weeks.
So i will be seeing KL's buildings and cars soon.

thus i will prolong the next updates (esp. on the trip) to quite sometimes.

ok..now u can book my lunch times.
or tea-time, or dinner..can be considered.
so, who's first?:P

selamat hari guru

nothing much to say and update.
still tired after quite a long break.. just came into the office today.
went to south korea from night of 7th may till early morning of 13th May.
it was a good trip since i went there with good friends; went to different places and listened to view from different angles. get almost everything i want, so inshaAllah (unless everything is being paid and i was given pocket money) seoul will not be in my shortlist place to go in the next few years... anyway, being to a place where we are quite familiar does make a different.. :)

and for today.. i just want to wish everyone each and every single person who have taught me directly or indirectly, to my teachers who taught me to read and write, my ustaz & ustazah who taught me to read alQuran, to friends who taught me about life, to outsiders/foreigners in my life that make me learnt something, to my colleagues and my staff who taugh me to think, to the bloggers out there that keep on writting good stuff for me to read, think and practise; and foremost to Allah SWT for giving me the oppurtunity to have the knowledge - thank you and thank you and Thank You. AlHamdulillah.

to all teachers : Selamat Hari Guru. Happy Teacher's Day. May all of you and us too become good teachers for the future generations. Implant good things and teach good values to them, so that they will become wonderful great leaders in the future. InshaAllah.

:)

seoul 5

kali ini message bergambar sahaja.. a picture speaks a thousand words.. will update soon with long essay...

some of the side dishes eat with rice. the red coloured one is the so-called kimchi. different places has slightly different tastes of kimchi since preparing the kimchi has no standard measurement or compulsory standard ingredients except it must has cabbage, chili, and salt.

one of the cake (like cekodok) made from sweet potato (and milk and ,i guess) baked with peanut filling inside.

snacks for the koreans. some crepe (kerepek) made from ginger and sugar. nice taste.

Amesyt factory...

Road in Korea.. View taken from (in the bus of course) a fly over

the trees along the way/highway.. even thou without leaves, they are still look beautiful. wonder how they would look like during spring & autumn. :D

Yangji, one of the place to play ski

bridge at the ski area

playing ski .. (:P very badly)

oh yes.. since i have not enough money, these are the pictures of sourvenires for you. choose which picture u like the most:P

another road in the city of seoul. look at the middle point road. they have no divider here, and u can make the u-turn just like that (i mean provided there is no car). see the U-Turn signed next to the white coloured car.

people crossed the road. most korean guys are busy working while the fruit of their hardwork are being enjoyed by the family.
p/s: it's a rule here for the male employees to provide the bank account of the wives for salary. heheheh

that's all for now..
and yes.. i am in korea (again?? oh my God.. ) but now not in seoul, outside the city visiting places like winter sonata shooting places (Namiseom Island); Autumn in My heart, Mount Seorak for film The King and The Clown.. etc etc.. err this time it's for the spring :P and yes i was offered to become part time tourist guide leader in Malaysia due to my experience here.. he he he not a bad offer, maybe i can come here the next 4months for the autumn season ;). Opss.. forgotten our planned trip to oriental country by end of the year.. maybe the next 10 months:D..
till then...

Seoul 4

Pictures taken from my room.
(with closed window, of course)

Day 2
The night before it was snowing heavily. I caught bad cough and sign of flu. Cannot stand the cold; imagine I went to sleep with full attire long wool sleeves (special attire you wore inside during winter); another long sleeves (you cannot wear this in Malacca during daytime, you are going to fall down due to the heat); winter coat; 2 pieces of long slack + wool slack; 2 pieces of socks one ordinary cotton socks, another one wool socks and hand cover (sarung tangan?? Lupa la plak heheh). On top of that, the blanket/comforter fully covered my body. But still sejukkkkkk i wore this special sleeping attire the whole nights there... huuhhu

I remembered to charge my camera battery.. only early of the morning on my last day i took few pictures from inside my room (and forgotten to take my room's picture). The room is quite small (if i can say it is really small..) , it is really like one room at home with attached bathroom except it is equipped with small kitchen.

By the time i stepped on the bus, my camera went out of battery again. Oh NO! How come this is happening again to me, scolding myself for buying that camera without properly checking it & scolding the camera attendant for selling me that camera (for i don't know whom shall i scold anymore), i switched of the camera hopping it will turn out ok later.

We went for a breakfast somewhere outside. Don't remember where.. Served in a buffet style, but obviously cannot eat much especially all the meat things, fried things. Saw few people took Char-koi, i also took few pcs. Tried to eat one, but just one bite and it tasted 'different' hehe so i took it out and opt for other vegetarians food. huuhuh Next days breakfast we ate at the hotel, so my main breakfast menu is fruits, rice with corn, salads and kimchi, and fresh juice/coffee for those particular days. uhuhuhhuh. btw i saw and ate a lot of vege that i never see before.

I saw people taking pictures, looked at them with those envy eyes.. uhuhu my camera. why why why.. it was then inside the bus i felt like checking the battery. And tada when i inserted the battery back, the camera was fully charge. Hmm maybe i have some kind of electricity inside me that able to charge back the battery.. heheh ok now with more pictures..
Reminder:
All the pictures taken are individual property. It would be much appreciated if you inform me if you have interest in any of the photos. Tak baik curi gambar orang tau.. :P

After the breakfast, we went to Presidential House.. The house of the President of Korea, the number one person there, second is the prime minister. The House is also known as The Blue House, because the colour of its roof is Blue - i forget but it holds some symbolic meaning in Korean culture and beliefs. The security there is strict, you cannot take picture just anywhere. They have restricted to certain area only or your camera will be taken. But we managed to take this picture before the guard asked us to move from that area. hehe so you can see that at the back of the blue house is a small mountain.

Photo of a few of the delegates at the Blue House Area

Pictures at the side of the road, Blue House

Next, we visited the National Folk Museum.

The Country of Korea actually is the merger of culture of 3 main kingdoms in the past. One of the Kingdom named Shilla Kingdom, the queen wore crown/tiara. The other 2 kingdoms had distinguished attire, but Shilla Kingdom's King and Queen attires somehow similar to most of the other features we saw in other kingdoms.
Korean culture values Knowledge; Creation of knowledge and preservation of Knowledge.

Picture here shows the steps to print letters and preserve the printed materials.

However, in the past only guys were able to learn how to write and read. While the girls have to prepare themselves to become a good housewives and mothers. Even they have separate learning places for the sons and daughters.

Replica of common people marriage festival.

Replica of common people who lives at the foot of the mountain, and main activities is farming.

The noble ladies attires inside the house
The greenish/blue dresses are noble lady dressed out attire. Notice they hide the face and hair when they go out. :) Reminds me of those Muslim noble ladies wore headscarf to distinguished themselves from the slaves, as the slaves did not wear headscarf.

Process in making Kimchi - a must to have dish for the Koreans; eat as the side dish (lauk) for rice, noodles etc. just like ikan masin, cencalok, sambal belacan, ulam etc. to the malays.

Next to the museum is Gyeongbokgoong - (Gyeong Bok Palace). Only part of the palace remains, the other was burnt during the Japanese invasion. There is one palace nearby remains untouched (not burnt) by the Japanese, it is declared by UNESCO as the world heritage. The palace name is Changdeokgung. The last King stayed there before he migrated to Japan and died there. So that is why Koreans has no more King. During the Japanese invasion, the crown prince at that time was forced to marry a Japanese lady and live in japan (i think in exchange of not hurting their people, so the crown prince agreed). This lady was particularly search so that she cannot pregnant the prince's child, but the Korean said the Japanese assigned was not-so-clever doctor. So she had a son. This son was living in Japan, cant speak Korean, continued his study in western and married to a western lady. But the Koreans doesn't like it, did not (do not?) want to recognize her as their queen and so they were forced to divorce. They were eventually divorced, and the last prince migrated to Japan.

The other royal families now lead the life as the normal/common people.
This is one of the backdoor to the palace

Different angles of the palace. Beautiful isn't it? If you can see, the snow is falling down during the time i took this pictures.

The palace from the backdoor; entry door from the museum.
to be continued...
